It was a matchup of the top two teams in the Southeast Conference’s West Division in Grand Meadow Tuesday night as the Superlarks entertained the Kingsland Knights, and it was the Superlarks seeing three players score in double figures to move a half-game ahead of the Knights in the division race with a 54-44 victory.

Lexy Foster drained four of Grand Meadow’s eight 3-pointers in the game on her way to leading the club with 19 points Tuesday night, Lauren Queensland tallied a double-double of 13 points and 12 rebounds, Gracie Foster swished a pair of 3’s on her way to 11 points, Kendall Jack totaled eight points, Rylee Schaufler scored two points, and Naomi Warmka chipped in one point in the win.

The Superlarks are now 9-4 in the Southeast Conference and 15-8 overall on the sesaon, and the Larks are back in action in Rochester Thursday night versus Schaeffer Academy, with the Southeast Conference matchup scheduled to tip off at 7:15 p.m.

In LeRoy Tuesday evening, the Cardinals of LeRoy/Ostrander were looking to snap a four-game losing streak versus the Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons in a non-conference matchup, and it was the Falcons eking out a 47-44 win.

Junior forward Benita Nolt not only led the Cardinals in scoring Tuesday evening with 14 points, she also achieved a career milestone as she pulled in the 1,000th rebound of her career.  Miranda Nagel was also in double figures with 13 points, Jenna Olson drained four 3-pointers for 12 points, Maria Almaraz-Nolt chipped in three points,  and Kendall Olson added two points.

With the loss, the Cardinals are now 2-19 overall on the season, and LeRoy/Ostrander returns to Southeast Conference action at home Thursday evening versus Lyle/Pacelli, with the varsity tip-off scheduled for 7:15 p.m. that evening.
