Austin man pleads guilty to non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images charges in Mower County District Court

An Austin man who posted nude images of an ex-girlfriend to an account on Reddit from March 23rd, 2022 to December 11th, 2022 is pleading guilty in Mower County District Court. 

24-year old Jacob Louis Cano pleaded guilty Monday to two amended gross misdemeanor charges of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images, intentionally disseminating an image without consent.  Cano originally pleaded not guilty on May 31st, 2023 to three felony charges of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images, intentionally disseminating an image without consent.

Sentencing for Cano in Mower County District Court has been scheduled for April 25th.
