The Austin Packers girls basketball team was looking for win number two in a row Tuesday night as they played host to Big 9 Conference rival Albert Lea at Ove Berven Gym, and junior guard Ajiem Agwa led three Packers in double figures in scoring with 31 points as the Packers rolled to a 81-56 win.

All 14 of Agwa’s field goals in the game were from 2-point range, and she was also 3 for 4 from the free-throw line in scoring the 31 points, while guard Marissa Shute was also in double figures with 18 points, and guard Addison Walsh added 12 points.  Quinn Osgood tallied nine points, forward Gracie Arndt chipped in seven points, and Mackenzie Brede and Nyaguay Mar each scored two points apiece in the win.

With the win, Austin raises their Big 9 Conference mark to 7-8, and they are 8-10 overall on the season.  The Packers return to action Friday night in Owatonna versus the Huskies in another Big 9 tilt, with the varsity tip-off at 7:30 p.m.
