The Austin Packers girls basketball team was back in action at Ove Berven Gym Tuesday night versus Big 9 Conference and Section 1AAA rival Faribault, and it was freshman guard Quinn Osgood draining three of Austin’s seven 3-pointers in the game on her way to 17 points to help lead the Packers to a 56-40 win and a sweep of the regular-season series between the two teams.

Austin led 27-18 at the half, and besides Osgood’s 17 points, Atee Obang and Gracie Arndt each scored nine points apiece, Ajiem Agwa, Marissa Shute and Addison Walsh all tallied six points apiece, and junior Mackenzie Brede totaled three points in the win.

The Packers now stand at 8-9 in the Big 9 Conference and 9-11 overall on the season, and Austin returns to action in Rochester Friday night versus conference leader Rochester Mayo, with the varsity tip-off at Mayo High School at 7:30 p.m.
