The Austin Packers girls golf team, coming off a strong performance in their first home meet of the season Monday traveled to Eastwood Golf Course in Rochester Tuesday for a Big 9 Conference triangular with Rochester Mayo and Rochester Century, and it was the Packers earning first place with a team score of 362, 20 strokes clear of second-place Rochester Mayo at 382, followed by Century at 408.

As she did Monday, eighth-grader Ailani Thiravong led the Packers individually with a final score of 84, followed by sophomore Izzy Sellers, who carded an 89 along with eight-grade teammate Sydney Lewis.  8th grader Lucy Annis finished with a 100, fellow eighth-grader Reagen Harty carded a 106, and sophomore Anna Kossman finished with a final score of 110.

Austin returns to action in a Big 9 Conference meet Thursday at Northern Hills Golf Club in Rochester, with the teams scheduled to tee off at 10 a.m. that morning.
