The Austin Packers gymnastics team traveled to Byron for a triangular Tuesday evening with the host Bears and LaCrescent, and it was Byron taking first place with 139.525 points, the Packers were second with 132.50 points, and the Lancers were third with 117.775 points.

Individually for Austin, Kiki Rodriguez took second in the all-around with a final score of 35.050, teammate Katelyn Klouse was fourth overall with a score of 32.075, and Reese Norton was sixth with a total score of 30.950.  Rodriguez was first on the vault for the Packers Tuesday night with a score of 9.400, while teammate Payton Gilmer took sixth with a score of 8.925, and Rodriguez was fifth on the bars for the Packers with a score of 7.750, while teammate Callie McCrae was eighth with a score of 7.275.  Rodriguez earned a second-place finish on the balance beam with a score of 8.850, while Reese Norton was fourth with a score of 8.375, and Emily Klapperich was fifth for the Packers with a score of 8.200, and on the floor exercise, Rodriguez was third with a final score of 9.050, Callie McCrae was fifth with a score of 8.725, and Katelynn Klouse took 8th in the event with a score of 8.375.

Austin returns to action Friday night in Mankato in a Big 9 Conference triangular with the West Scarlets and the East Cougars, with the action scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
