Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms boys basketball team rolls by Chatfield 76-38 Thursday evening

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms boys basketball team started the 2024 portion of their schedule with game number two of a four-game road swing in Chatfield versus the Gophers from the Three Rivers Conference, and Gabe and Zach Hein each tallied 22 points apiece to help keep BP’s record unblemished by a score of 76-38.

The Blossoms raced out to a 46-16 lead at the half on their way to the win, and besides the Hein brothers, who combined to sink all seven of BP’s 3-pointers in the game, Brady Kittleson tallied 20 points, Jacob Pauly scored five points, Cooper Cooke finished with four points, and Gabe Staloch swished a 3-pointer for three points in the win.

The Blossoms are now 9-0 on the season, and Blooming Prairie is right back on the court tonight (Friday) in Mapleton versus Maple River in the Gopher Conference, with the varsity tip-off at 7:15 p.m.
