Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms cross-country teams host six-team meet Tuesday

The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms cross-country teams played host to a six-team invitational Tuesday, and it was the girls varsity team finishing 6^th and the boys team taking 2nd overall.

Will Sunde led the boys for the third meet in a row with a 3^rd place finish, as he ran a final time of 20:59. Breckin Cochlin and Ty Forystek both finished in the top eight, as Cochlin ran a time of 21:26, and Forystek finished with a time of 21:45, and 8^th grader Isaac Fort ran an outstanding race to finish 11th with a time of 22:17.

Gloria Hernandez led the way for the girls a 3^rd place finish, as she ran a time of 22:31. Head Coach John Bruns stated that Sophia Esplan and Rachel Winzenburg both ran well to finish 15th and 21st, respectively, with times of 26:50 and 28:50, while Anna Haberman was 31st with a final time of 31:07.
