This whole alien thing has gotten a little out of control… but this is pretty funny!
Light has gotten involved in the planned raid on Area 51, offering free beer to all space aliens who manage to escape from the clandestine military base.
Since California resident Matty Roberts created a Facebook page called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us,” more than 1.6 million people have pledged to take part in a September 20th raid on the Nevada facility.
When the story began attracting national attention, Bud Light officials tweeted, “We’d like to be the first brand to formally announce that we will not be sponsoring the Area 51 raid.” That changed on Friday, when the company posted, “Screw it. Free Bud Light to any alien that makes it out.”

One of the few organizations that hasn’t had fun with the “plan” is the U.S. Air Force, which operates the base. A rep has warned potential raiders, “We would discourage anyone from trying to come into the area where we train American armed forces.”
