Several million jobs have just opened in the U.S. Census Bureau officials say they’re looking for people to help conduct the 2020 census in January and February.

“We would love if people would think about applying for a job right now,” says Census Bureau rep Tim Olson. “These are part-time jobs. Typically, people work evenings and weekends when they can follow-up with households that haven’t self-responded to the census.”

Although the rate of pay may vary by location, the Los Angeles branch is paying between $17 and $21 an hour.

Applications are being accepted at www.2020census.gov/jobs.
