Breaking Bad Filming Locations

I’ve been a fan of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul for quite sometime. I always thought it would be cool to see the filming locations. I finally got my chance.

My wife recently booked an extended weekend trip to Albuquerque, NM for my birthday. And it did not disappoint. We flew in on a Thursday and right away, after checking in to our hotel, we went to some of the more prominent locations. Like Walt and Skyler’s house. The real owner was not too happy to see us. I mean, I guess I can understand. People driving by your house every day, slowing down to take a picture. I heard that, before she put the fence up, people would throw pizzas on to their garage roof. Yeah. That would upset me enough too. I get it. But all we did was drive by, snap a pic and we were done. She still took time to swear at us. I think she sits out there all day and yells at people.

We went and had lunch at “Los Pollos Hermanos”…which is actually called Twisters. They pretty much sell burgers and burritos. Honestly, the burger wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either.

Check out the gallery below. if you’re a fan, I definitely recommend it. There are still quite a few spots we didn’t hit but maybe another day. There’s also a Breaking Bad store. They’ve got some props from the show as well as BB merch you can buy. I bought some fake meth, a giant insulated mug and a Walt sticker. All in all, a cool trip.
