Individual from Austin Packers boys swimming and diving team compete at State Class A Meet at University of Minnesota

Individuals from the Austin Packers boys swimming and diving team were in action at the State Class A Meet at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and the squad’s 200 Medley Relay team of Brent Dahl, Hunter Peters, Lucas Meyers and Zach Evenson finished 14th with a time of 1:42.02, and the 400 Freestyle Relay team of Evenson, Meyers, Peters and Dahl finished 11th with a time of 3:20.55.

Brent Dahl, who broke with Austin High School 500 Freestyle record preivously held by Logan Kelly from 2021 with a time of 4:47.48 at the Section 1A meet took fifth in the state meet with a time of 4:49.41, and in the 200 Individual Medley, the sophomore for the Packers finished third with a time of 1:57.55.
