Locally, the Austin Police Department arrested 11 impaired drivers over the holidays, with the highest blood alcohol level recorded at .21, the Mower County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26 impaired drivers, with the highest blood alcohol content recorded at .19, the Blooming Prairie Police Department registered one arrest for impaired driving over the holiday season, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office arrested seven motorists for impaired driving, with the highest blood alcohol content recorded at .255, the Albert Lea Police Department arrested five motorists for impaired driving over the holidays, with the highest blood alcohol content registered at .15, the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office arrested four impaired drivers, with the highest blood alcohol level recorded at .18, the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office registered seven impaired driving arrests over the holidays, with the highest blood alcohol content at .25, the Steele County Sheriff’s Office arrested three impaired drivers, with the highest blood alcohol content recorded at .221, and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office recorded 27 arrests for impaired driving over the holidays, with the highest blood alcohol level registering .27.
