Lunch Lady Steals $1.5 Million Worth Of Chicken Wings

Shattering every stereotype of a “sweet, old lunch lady”, 66-year-old Vera Liddell was arrested for stealing $1.5 MILLION worth of chicken wings from a school district in Illinois.

Liddell, the “food service director”, had been working there for at least a decade. During the pandemic, she over-ordered chicken, then picked it up herself in a district cargo van. The extra chicken never made it back to the school.

She stole a LOT of chicken over the past couple years but her thieving ways were caught because she forgot one thing:  Chicken wings were never served to the students “because they contain bones.”

Perhaps the most puzzling part is that it’s unclear what she was actually doing with all those chicken wings.
