Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Briella Wempner of the Austin Packers girls’ track and field team!

Wempner, a senior for Austin competing in her last home meet Tuesday helped the Packers to a runner-up finish in the four-team, Big 9 Conference invitational as she took third in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 19.15 seconds, she was also a member of the 4 x 200 meter relay team that took second with a time of 2:00.43, and, she also ran the second leg for Austin’s 4 x 100 meter relay team that took second with a time of 59.14 seconds.  Wempner was one of nine seniors for the Packers honored after Tuesday’s meet at the Wescott Athletic Complex.
