Rochester man sentenced to supervised probation and jail time on felony drug possession and misdemeanor DWI charges in Mower County District Court

A Rochester man facing felony drug possession and misdemeanor DWI charges in Mower County District Court stemming from an incident that took place on November 15tth 2019 has been sentenced to jail time and supervised probation.

35-year-old Jeremia Michael Roberts was convicted and sentenced Thursday to three years of supervised probation for a felony 5th degree drug possession charge.  A 25-month prison sentence was stayed for three years if Roberts complies with the terms of his probation, and he was also convicted and sentenced Thursday to 90 days in jail for a misdemeanor charge of 4th degree DWI, under the influence of a controlled substance.  Roberts was given credit for 78 days already served, and he pleaded guilty to the two charges on November 12th, 2021.

A misdemeanor charge for driving after revocation, and a petty misdemeanor charge for possession of drug paraphernalia in the case were dismissed with Robert’s guilty pleas.
