Shakopee man injured in one-vehicle, rollover-type accident on Interstate 90 in Freeborn County early Thursday morning
A Shakopee man was injured in a one-vehicle, rollover-type accident involving a semi on Interstate 90 in Freeborn County early Thursday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia semi being driven by 37-year old Abdi Mohamed Dagane of Shakopee was eastbound on Interstate 90 at approximately 2:09 a.m. Thursday morning when he lost control of the vehicle, which then rolled onto its side at milepost 146 near the town of Alden.
Dagane sustained non-life threatening injuries in the accident, and he was transported to Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Albert Lea for treatment. The State Patrol reported that the road was wet at the time of the accident, and they added that Dagane was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Albert Lea Fire Department and the Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office assisted the State Patrol at the accident scene early Thursday morning.
