The end is near for some seasons

Anglers have less than a week left before walleye, sauger, northern pike and largemouth bass seasons close statewide for inland waters. These seasons are open through Feb. 27.
Want to keep fishing? Seasons for sunfish, crappie and perch continue all year. Other opportunities include trout fishing in lakes, catch-and-release fishing for trout in southeastern Minnesota, and a variety of other fishing seasons remain open on Minnesota border waters.
