A warrant has been issued in Mower County District Court for the arrest of a Janesville man who is facing five felony drug sale charges after allegedly selling fentanyl pills to a confidential informant with the Austin Police Department in November of 2022.

25-year old Phabayo Nygare Gilo pleaded not guilty on February 6th of this year to three felony charges of 2nd degree drugs, sale of 10 grams or more of a narcotic other than heroin, and he also pleaded not guilty to two felony charges of 3rd degree drugs, sale of a narcotic after being accused of selling fentanyl pills to a confidential informant with the Austin Police Department on five different occasions from two different residences in northwest Austin, including 100 fentanyl pills weighing 10.7 grams during the last sale on November 21st.

Gilo failed to appear for a Monday afternoon hearing in Mower County District Court, and Judge Natalie Martinez then issued a warrant for his arrest.  If and when Gilo is taken into custody, Judge Martinez ordered that he be held without bond.
