What’s Your Favorite Pizza Topping?
I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say, “I don’t like pizza.”
I mean, c’mon…it contains all the major food groups, doesn’t it? Vegetables, breads, meats, etc.
A recent poll says people eat pizza at least 3 times a month and roughly 180 pieces a year.
When it comes to MY favorite pizza, you can’t go wrong with a sausage and mushroom. I don’t mind a pepperoni but I don’t order it on my pizza. I’ve only had pizza with anchovies once and I didn’t mind it but I think my taste buds have changed as I’ve gotten older.
The poll also says people prefer a frozen or take and bake pizza to having a fresh, hot pizza in a restaurant.
According to this article,
the nation’s fascination with pizza goes far: 74% would be satisfied eating it for any meal of the day and 69% actually like to eat it for breakfast. In fact, a quarter of people (25%) love pizza so much, they said they’d serve pizza at their wedding.
The article went on to say:
The nation’s “perfect” pizza is, on average: circular in shape (65%), thick crust (32%) and uses tomato sauce (61%). It’s then topped with mozzarella (59%), pepperoni (51%), sausage (42%), mushrooms (37%) and parmesan (37%).
So when it comes to pizza, what do you like for toppings?
