54-year old Thomas Irvin Percival was convicted and sentenced Thursday to two years of supervised probation for a felony 5th degree drug possession charge.  Percival was granted a stay of adjudication in the case where the defendant pleads guilty to a felony level offense. Percival was also sentenced Thursday to 24 days in jail for a misdemeanor charge of domestic assault, commits act to cause fear of immediate bodily harm or death for an incident that took place on September 7th, 2020.  Percival was given credit for 27 days already served, and he was convicted on the charge on August 23rd, 2021 after pleading guilty the same day. Felony charges for 1st degree burglary, assault a person in a building on property, 1st degree burglary of an occupied dwelling and for terroristic threats in the case were dismissed with Percival’s guilty plea.
