Austin woman sentenced to supervised probation on felony drug possession charge in Mower County District Court

An Austin woman facing a felony drug possession charge in Mower County District Court stemming from an incident that took place in September of 2018 has been sentenced to supervised probation.

41-year old Kelly Jo Janning was sentenced Monday to five years of supervised probation for a felony 5th degree drug possession charge.  A 19-month prison sentence was stayed for five years if Janning complies with the 18 different conditions of her probation, and she first pleaded guilty to the charge in August of 2018. 

She was convicted in December of that same year.
