The Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms girls basketball team was looking to get back on the winning track Monday evening as they played host to Gopher Conference rival Kenyon-Wanamingo, and the Blossoms returned to the win column and them some as they had three players score in double figures in a 65-15 rout.

The Blossoms led 39-6 at the half, and they also cashed in on seven 3-pointers in the game to none for the Knights.  Claire Schwarz drained three 3’s on her way to a game-high 20 points, Addison Doocy chipped in 11 points from the front court, Shawntee Snyder was also in double figures with 10 points, Macy Lembke drained three 3’s for nine points, Sienna Fyksen and Catelynn Bartlett scored five points apiece, Ella Salinas totaled three points, and Ella Smith scored two points in the lopsided win.

With the win, the Blossoms are now 13-6 overall and 7-4 in the Gopher Conference.  Blooming Prairie returns to action Friday night at Randolph versus the Rockets, with tip-off scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
