Lyle/Pacelli boys’ basketball rolls by Glenville/Emmons 77-50

Guard Jake Truckenmiller led three Lyle/Pacelli Athletics in double figures in scoring with 31 points, plus he added two rebounds, six assists, five steals and two blocked shots to help lead the Athletics to a 77-50 victory over the Glenville/Emmons Wolverines in Southeast Conference action in Glenville Monday evening.

The Athletics led comfortably at the half 53-26 and besides Truckenmiller’s 31 points, junior guard Buay Koak contributed 19 points, a team-high six rebounds, five assists and six of LP’s nine blocked shots in the game, Trey Anderson was also in double figures in scoring with 13 points, plus he added five rebounds, two assists and three of LP’s 17 steals in the game, Mac Nelson tallied nine points, five rebounds, two assists and three steals, David Christianson chipped in three points and Hunter VaDeer and Luke Weaver scored one point apiece for the Athletics, who won their fourth in a row to keep them one game ahead of Southland in the West Division of the Southeast Conference 11-1, and they are now 16-3 overall on the season.

Lyle/Pacelli returns to action Thursday night in Rochester against Schaeffer Academy, with the varsity tip-off at 7:15 p.m.
