Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week named!

Congratulations to this week’s KAUS Overby Orthodontics Prep Athlete of the Week, Kate Holtz of the Austin Packers girls’ hockey team!

Holtz, a senior forward  for the Packers has been racking up the points lately, as she rolled up three goals and three assists for six points in a 9-2 win over Mankato West last Saturday, she added one of the two goals the Packers scored in a 2-0 shutout of Fairmont Tuesday evening, and Holtz tallied a power play and a short-handed goal in a 5-2 win in Red Wing Thursday night to give Austin three wins in a row, and a 13-10 regular-season record with the Section 1A playoffs drawing near.  Holtz has put together an outstanding season which has seen her tally 31 goals and 23 assists for 54 points.
