Residents of Grand Meadow School District encouraged to fill out survey

Residents of the Grand Meadow School District are being urged to fill out a survey the School Board is hoping will help to answer three key questions, what the district needs to do to maintain its success, what strategies can be deployed to help the district grow, and what facility updates are needed now, and what should be done in the future.  Superintendent Paul Besel spoke with KAUS and gave some background as to why the survey is being distributed…

Superintendent Besel went on to talk about a base plan outlined in the survey that would address the district’s most pressing needs….

Besel went on to state that in addition to information on the base plan, the survey also outlines the possible expansion of a bond referendum to fund several other projects…

Superintendent Besel stated that the Grand Meadow School Board believes this is a good time to hear the community’s input on a potential bond referendum, and he added that the district is committed to being debt-free in less than 10 years…

The survey can be taken by going to the survey website at and entering your survey code, and if you do not have internet access, the board invites you to return the survey to any school office.  The survey code can only be used once, and to obtain additional surveys for other adults in your household, you are asked to please call the Grand Meadow District office at (507) 857-1120.  District residents are being asked to complete the survey before May 9th.
