Stepdad arrested for DUI after showing up at daycare to pick up his child… twice

Reginal Horner in Palatka, Florida drunk drove to pick up his stepchild from daycare on Friday.

It seems the daycare employees didn’t realize he was drunk, so they sent the child home with him.

Horner then showed up a short time later to pick up the same child… again.

When they told him he already performed the pick up, he insisted they were wrong, pointing out that he didn’t have the child.

It turned out that in between visits, Horner had left his stepchild at a nearby store.

Fortunately, the child was not physically harmed and is now with their mother.

Horner faces charges for drunk driving and child neglect. The local Department of Children and Families will also conduct an investigation.
